When visiting Oxford we encourage you to immerse yourself in the full living and learning experiences of our community, which began more than 170 years ago. The city of Covington offers many fun and engaging events to explore during your visit to Oxford College.
Covington Square is host to many long-standing traditions between the college and the City of Covington, including "Culture Fest", where first-year students set up booths and host performances and competitions to share the world’s diverse cultural expressions with the city’s residents. Local attractions that have proven popular with students include a hand-dipped ice cream cone from Scoops, Thursday night trivia at Amici Café, and authentic Thai food from Bangkok Grill. Students are also welcome and encouraged to get involved in the community beyond campus through schools, civic groups, faith groups, and city committees.
